Arca Pub hosted “Korean Night” which was organized by Mana & Maneet again. The korean cook, Jae Hyeok Kim, prepared the food in this time.

Even though the place was full of people, It was very cozy and warm as usual so that everyone was relaxed and enjoyed for a dinner night.

The menu consisted of two kinds like below;

Korean pork ribs with Kimchi and rice (Dwaeji Galbi Jjim)

Korean vegetable pancake (Buchimgae)

The first cuisine was perfect for someone who loved the spicy food.On the other hand, the second one was the best option for vegan or somebody who preferred the light meal. The food was even more tasty paired with a refreshing beer.

On the 15 and 16 of February, we were able to taste the flavours of Korea in Porto. The Korean Weekend, held by Mana & Maneeat in Arca Pub. Dishes had been prepared by the French chef Angelo Reyes. This event was also sponsored by Hyundai Portugal.

The menu included bulgoggi, a dish made of thin slices of beef and japchae, which consists of stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables; both dishes were served with kimchi.

The place was crowded and irradiating a warm atmosphere with cosy lightings; everyone was having a good time and because it took place in a pub, all food had been served in plastic dishes, which contributed to create an informal and relaxing environment.

Soon, there will be more events like this at the Arca Pub, focused on Southeast Asian food and more Korean dishes will be served, such as gamjatang and bibimpap.
